Queen of Hearts is the last work of director Bruno Seillier, the only one who made a tremendous video scenography on Notre-Dame de Paris, on the occasion of the Courtyard of the Gentiles in September 2011. Author of many shows including La Nuit aux Invalides (Hôtel des Invalides), The Conquest of the Air (Grand Palais), en Avignon (Les Luminescences), his work is based on the development of a historical monument: glorifying it with technology without taking out its first essence. The place is the setting, the receptacle where the idea will take shape, in constraint and sublimation. Through his performances, he aspires to awaken in the spectator’s heart wonder and admiration that prelude to an inner dialogue.
